"Rodrick!" Susan called for what seemed hours, "Rodrick!" she calls out once more as if Rodricks's music will magically turn off by itself for her to be heard. With a huff, she comes to terms with her having to stomp up the stairs as she did yesterday and the day before and the day before that..

Making her way up the stairs, the music becomes more obnoxious up close than downstairs. With a push, Rodrick's door flies open, entering a frustrated mother now shocked mother as she stares at the sight of her son lying down with his girlfriend on his lap. She exits as quick as she entered only being able to exclaim, "Rodrick! Music!" Now more panicked than angry now.

Susan raced down the stairs, eager to hear what Frank had to say about his teenage son's girlfriend nestled a bit too close to him. Probably, "They're teenagers, hun. Doing teenager stuff " but she wouldn't allow anyone getting pregnant under her roof.

"Frank!" Her sudden proclaim disrupted the bite of his sandwich, "Huh, what?" Susan leaned in as if she was uttering government official secrets, "I went up to Rodrick's room to say to turn down the music as I normally do but-" Inbetween bites Frank hums in acknowledgement, Susan continues "I saw (reader) sitting on his lap! Rodrick touching her hips!"

Frank blinks. Processing all the train of fast words she spewed out to him after a swallow he says "So...you want me to talk 'im? Tell them to keep it in their pants?" He receives a light slap on his shoulder, "Frank! No! They're far too young to be having sex. Unprotected sex at that! I don't know if Rodrick has condoms.." Frank blankly watches her spiral thinking of hypotheticals that all result in teen pregnancy.

Frank knowing his munch of his sandwich won't be peaceful until he talks to his teenage son about safe sex. With a sigh he nods and makes his way up the stairs, an anxious Susan trailing behind him.

"Rod?" He cautiously says before opening the door peering over it to see reader snug against rodrick watching him playing on his phone.

"Yeah, dad?" Rodrick mirrors the panicked expression of his now timid mother "Everything alright?" You say, your eyes bounce between the contrasting faces. One panicked the other hesitant.

You both sit up, expecting that there's a man holding Greg captive from the suddenly cumbersome atmosphere.

"Uh..rod..your mother and I are worried that you're going to make some stupid..unprotected decisions..and..I know you two love eachother but..even though it feels right in the moment..it may lead to-" Frank mumbling anything that came to his mind that would please Susan and keep his son from doing anything stupid. He went to go on but the bewildered faces of the two of you, he paused for an ounce of an answer.

"Huh?" Rodrick broke the uncomfortable silence. Susan butted in, "Frank and I love you both love you and we don't won't (reader) getting pregnant. We know you're experiencing urges-"

Rodrick, sheepishly pipes up covering his face with a pillow, "Why are you telling us this?? " You mirror Rodrick's awkward face, your cheeks heat up at the mention of urges.

Frank scratches his head, reluctant to say it, "Your mother saw (reader) on top of you and.. well..thought.."

"Mom! What the hell!" He rips the pillow off of his face. Defensive, Susan shoots back, "Rodrick! Language!"

Frank in attempt to difuse the new tension of the room he adds unnecessarily," Rod..it's nothing to be ashamed of..I remember when I was your age..there was this girl-"

"Dad!" Rodrick whines, desperate for this uncomfortable situation to be over already. "(Reader) and I weren't having sex."

Now, their faces weren't contrasting, the both of them having questioning looks. "You weren't? What else -"

"I have cramps.. bad ones..and uhm.." You feel the heat cementing itself onto your cheeks as you explain, "Rodrick was massaging me for some relief.."

The air becomes unbearably still, and wide eyes stare back at you and Rodrick. Frank, the only one who spoke up after what seemed a century of silence, "Oh well..that's sweet rod..attaboy..I'm going to go.." Frank disappears from the doorway. Faint footsteps trail down the stairs. Leaving a lingering figure, Susan, after mumbling rushed words she blurts out, "Make good decisions!"

The Traveler & her Path Behind

“Wounds suffered, lessons learned.”

I think the most prominent part about episode 4 other than it being Alice's trial— wherein she was able to ended her generational curse for once and for all; changing something that she thinks “wasn't real”, is that you get to see how it affecting her.

How Alice realizes that she was angry at her mom who was only trying to save her. Lorna did everything in her power to protect Alice in any way she could. So that even if she was no longer present on Alice's life— her protection through the song, in which she pours all of her love for her daughter into, would persist. Thanks to the people who sang that song with as much passion as how Lorna is writing it for Alice.

And I love how she learned all of this from a journey with a broken coven, each filled with covenless witches who had their own issues. But even though they are hardly a “true” coven— they were there for Alice. They sat there with her on that campfire, talking about each scars that they had, so that she wouldn't feel so bad about hers. And for once, she felt that hole in her heart was slowly filled with warmth. That similar type of warmth that she's been missing for ages.

Alice has always been angry all her life. It's easier for her to get angry and blame something instead of grieving it. Because being angry is relatively easier than grieving because you feel like you are in control of your life, you get this power to push through from that fire burning in you. But unlike anger, grief is far from that. It's that feeling of hollow and emptiness— that you acknowledge something was no longer yours. It's gone and you have to accept that. You will eventually move on and there might be something else that will replace it. You will learn to live side by side with this pit that sits with you and it will left you in a vulnerable state, and that's not alright. It's hard to said it'll be alright when it clearly didn't. But eventually, you'd move on. People always do. That's just how life is always been.

And for once, when the cause of Alice's angers was no longer there— and that she was finally free from it after a long time of suffering, she felt nothing but sadness.

This is a simple phrase if it were to be said by anyone. However, it held much bigger weight when it was Lilia who said that.

Lilia being the oldest witch from the coven. Lilia who's been alive for 400+ years. Lilia who made it this far in life, seeing all the horrors, and the tragedies that humanity experienced— the malice that lurked in their hearts. She's seen it all. She saw their path and “destination”; but mostly their destination because of her gift. That's almost all the thing she ever saw throughout her life up until now. Not to mention the flow of time that seems to be never standing with her.

It makes her angry. Because she saw it all. Lilia has seen their death. The causes and what's about to happen. But there is nothing she could do about it. She warns them. She tells them. And it didn't change anything. There's nothing she could do about the outcome. Because her task as a seer isn't supposed to change. She's there to observe — to see. And that alone upsets her. She turned away from her gift. Unwilling to use something that is a part of herself. For years. Decades. Probably centuries. Because why would she be? Death is all she'd seen. Why would she want to subject herself into something that would hurt her? Something that would only make her sad? And that's why, in the end, she resorted into being a con artist. Masking herself behind something that was not Lilia Calderu the chased-out-of-every-village-for-accurately-predicting-tragedies; running away from her true self.

Lilia already lost count on how many days and nights that she yearns for a change. To be able to do something for once. Flashes upon flashes would appear on the peripheral of her vision. About her coven. Her family. Her sister in the craft. And often times she wondered if a miracle would happened again in her life.

And it finally did.

When Agatha Harkness recruited Lilia to joined her coven, she almost wanted to spat. No one with a sane mind would willingly joined her coven. But fate always has its own ways with Lilia as her future self went back into that fateful day, where she write down the name of her new coven. Assigning herself to embark into a treacherous journey with a group of people that she, somehow, has quite a lot in common.

From there, she learns again what it feels to have a coven and be in a coven. Each trials they faced with death and their worst nightmare following in their step. But at least they are together this time. Lilia is not alone and maybe she could actually count on these people. Perhaps the walk down on this road with the infamous Agatha Harkness is going to change her. Maybe she still couldn't prevent deaths but at least she could piece up something that she has been missing. A part of herself that she was trying so hard to ignore— a part of herself that yearns for some form of connections through sisterhood.

And she finally got it again. She saw Jennifer who's capable of saving a life while being bound. Changing the outcome of Teen's life. She saw Alice fighting, oh ever so bravely, and full of fire. Ending her family's generational curse for once and for all — changing something that she thought she couldn't. She's seen all the struggles and how it impacts them.

And there they sat in that campfire, after the fire-trial. Sharing their own scars as an attempt to make Alice felt better about herself. Lilia saw the sadness that lingered on the once fierce and full of fire woman. She's seen it and she acknowledge it, she knows that feeling all too well. Lilia feels like she saw a piece of herself on her new coven members yet again, and she felt the urge to give Alice one last words of comfort, “Sad is better than angry”. And maybe that words is not enough to fully filled the hole in Alice's heart on its own, but as long as it means that Lilia could have a chance to do something for her sisters in the craft instead of running away again or being indifferent like how she always do— then that's fine. It's okay. She will take those chances.

And Alice? Alice is grateful to hear that from Lilia— who lives longer than her, who suffers worse things than her, and who knows so much more than her. Because to be loved, is to be seen and heard. And now Alice is surrounded with love.

Lots of fluff!! Y'all are lucky I felt nice today and didn't decide to write another angst

One kiss.

Then another.

And yet another: they seemed like they would go on for ages. Jason wouldn't mind that, of course. And neither would you, for the record. There is absolutely nothing you loved more than making your boyfriend feel as loved as he actually is.

It started early in the morning, when Jason was making breakfast. Today was one of those rare days where he would wake up before you and get up to make food. Believe it or not, he's actually a great cook, especially with breakfast. It's hard to even comprehend how easily he's able to flip an omelette.

"Good morning, Mr. Todd," your voice is barely more than a hoarse whisper as you wrap your arms around his waist from behind, the sound slightly muffled by his skin. Before he even has a chance to response, you press a feather light kiss to the scar ranging from his shoulder to the middle of his back.

"Good morning, gorgeous," is Jason's immediate response, smiling slightly to himself even though you couldn't see it from your current angle. He didn't think much of the kiss at first; he does the same to you whenever you're cooking.

"How did you sleep, handsome?" Sometimes, Jason forgets how sweet your voice sounds. It startles him, in some strange way. If it were anybody else speaking, he would've found the honey-sweet tone to be sickening.

But not with you.

Not with his sweet girl.

"Slept fine..." His tone, however, is a dead giveaway that he's bullshitting you. Jason Todd is many things, but a good liar isn't one of them. Not with you, at least. From the first kiss the two of you had ever shared, he knew that it would be difficult to lie to a woman with such a sweet taste.

And, for a moment, he's almost convinced you believe him. The most you do is let out a soft hum, accompanied with a slight sigh, before pressing a kiss to one of the scars on the back of his neck. He almost let out an actual sigh of relief at your lack of response.

"Bullshit."

Instead, he lets out a soft sigh of defeat. There wasn't much of a point in denying it now, was there? Besides, he can't escape the slight feeling of guilt he gets whenever he lies to you, even over something so simple. Sometimes, he wonders if that's because he told a harmless lie to Bruce before seeking out his biological mother.

Jason doesn't respond for a while, not verbally, at least. His shoulders hunch up a little, almost like they're stuck almost shrugging in response to you calling him out. He doesn't notice, but he does that a lot whenever he lies to you. Hell, he even does it when he lies to Bruce nowadays.

The most you hear from him for what seems like forever is a soft, shuddering sigh. Sometimes, you have to wonder if he tries to convince himself that he was okay, too. Did he do it with other things, like when he has to stitch up his own wounds or hold gauze to a gaping injury?

Probably.

Sometimes, it's like he forgets he has you. Of course he's grateful for you and absolutely refuses to take you for granted. Even with the love of his life there by his side, it's like he's just... Used to bottling it up. You can only imagine that it kills him inside the same way it kills you.

But still, his silence prevails.

A fourth kiss to a scar on his neck. A fifth to one between his shoulderblades. A sixth to the 'J' shaped branding mark on his cheek. You wish you knew him before his untimely death. Before all of the rage and need for vengance consumed him whole.

And finally, finally, you turn him to face you, leaning over to turn off the stove behind him for the time being. At first, he looked confused. Whether it was because of your lips' sweet assault on his body or because you turned him around, you weren't quite sure.

Regardless, the warmth sparked in his body only spread as you started to pepper his autopsy scar in feather-light kisses. The touch of your soft lips to his marred skin was nothing less than that of an angel's on a sinner. Oh, how he prayed to the God's above that he could keep your touch for just the shortest bit longer.

When your lips eventually make their way down to the bottom of his most prominent scar, past his bellybutton and just barely reaching the teail of dark hair down to his pelvis, you give him one more liss before rising. You liked having a guy like Jason who didn't turn a situation sexual at any possible chance. It took so long for him to let you see his body like that, and you would never break that kind of trust.

As your eyes finally meet his yet again, the green orbs practically shining in the morning rays of light, you press a soft peck to the tip of his nose. If this were back when you first started dating, Jason would've undoubtedly flinched away from such a sudden touch.

But now, after months of exploring eachother's bodies and souls? He trusts you. Your boyfriend, for the first time since his resurrection, trusts somebody.

"Come lay back down with me, Jay..." You coo softly, resting your forehead against his while wrapping your arms around his thick neck. To anybody else, this type of affection would be odd. I mean, how could the Red Hood learn how to love gently?

But to the two of you, it's home.

"It's only eight... I've got another hour before I really have to be up for work," you try to reason as the slight bit of hesitation Jason always holds appears in his beautiful eyes. You knew that as soon as you tried reasoning with him in that honey-sweet tone again, he'd crack. "Come talk to me. Maybe you can get a little more sleep to make up for such a crappy night, hm?"

You end up staying home the whole day with him to just talk.

I liked the episode where Lunar and Earth cleared things between each other ^^

Lunar seems so much more mature than at the beginning of the show..

He was able to look within himself and he also was able to realize why exactly he did wrong..

I was angry at Earth at first because she shouldn't be so upset at Lunar for not telling her anything.. like Earth he probably didn't talk to you or anyone because of his issues and he didn't even realize that it was that bad.. like he even said so..

Sometimes people won't take our helping hand.. but you don't have to make it look like they're such an issue for even not realizing that they need help..

Earth annoys me with how she's apparently the only one who tries in this family.. apparently.. and how she can't even comprehend that others don't have to want help that's one.. and two that maybe like Lunar they don't even realize it's that bad.. that they're issues are that bad.. and also what annoys me about Earth is that she expects others to be flawless.. like yeah she knows no one is perfect.. but how she acts says otherwise..

But it's understandable because she was Creator's golden child so she was raised spoiled..

My anger was short though cause it went away when Earth started talking about how she misses playing with kids.. this is something that Earth has every right to be angry at Lunar.. and not that Lunar doesn't have an insight about how bad his issues are..

I feel for Earth.. I know how much it sucks to be not able to do things that you could do before.. for me it's been over a decade.. but for Earth it was not so long ago so it hurts more..

I hope that eventually things will get better between Earth and Lunar..

I enjoy laes and while Kat is no longer writing for it I still don't want to see it end so soon..

And by that I mean that I don't want any changes.. I don't want Earth and Monty show or Lunar and idk who show..

I really wish that Earth realize that everyone have their struggles and shortcomings.. and it doesn't make anyone bad..

I want Earth to forgive Lunar because he doesn't deserve that.. he tries his best.. he very quickly started working on himself because he loves his family.. he doesn't want to lose it..

I understand Earth's conflicted feelings though.. I also feel bad whenever someone will hurt me and I feel angry at them.. like I want to be angry but at the same time I feel bad about it.. even now I'm trying to move on from what happened last year..

Earth is allowed to not forgive Lunar.. but personally, like yeah it's probably because of my personal beliefs and worldview, I can't imagine Earth and Lunar's relationship to be okay if Earth won't forgive Lunar..

I think that forgivness is important.. even if at least to one's healing..

But that's how I view life.. and I know that others view it differently..

Maybe it's all a part of the big plot where Earth realizes how she's affected by how Creator raised her..

There were times when Yoko wondered as well where he ended and Kuro begun. And how much he really was intertwined with his actual personality. Everyone had a dark side, no one was completely pure, there was a malicious side within every person, this was only human. But he couldn't even claim that Kuro had an own separate personality. He would enjoy the things Yoko enjoyed as well, like playing the guitar, so did this mean…that he was just the feral and malicious side of him? He could wreck his brain about this over and over again without getting to a response. However, it had been always the case that Yoko liked to be the boss, dominant and in control, all in his calm and quiet way. So, who knew?

"So you wouldn't say I've gotten crazy?", he wondered and scratched his neck with his index finger. "Thank you? How reassuring." He actually had to laugh a little. "Although I sometimes feel as if I lost my mind, with this /darkness/ in me." Fuji…well, there probably wasn't a cure for this insanity, otherwise Fuji would have certainly have given him some pills or any other treatment. "Right. I should take a lot of cans with food with me, and a lot of instant ramen. Oh, I'd certainly survive this way. And the more I think about the more I get fond of this idea." He took a deep breath. man. I've been reworking a lot of content involving Act II of Home Is Where You Are and like. ugh. it'd work so freaking well in novel form but I just Do Not have the dedication or the drive to start from scratch and rewrite everything that happens.

the system tries to play it off as intentional but nobody's rlly buying it. system dubs the new,,, situation as co-op mode. since they share Everything, they need to cooperate or otherwise face the Consequences (this is usual stuff but make it all conveyed more wet cat like because the svsss system is kinda pathetic loser core in a cute way)!!

shen yuan is kinda panicked initially abt the entire thing (this wasn't supposed to happen wtf system!!!) but he's pretending not to be because like, even though lqg knows he isn't shen qingqiu shen qingqiu, he also kinda is shen qingqiu. i'm of the opinion shen yuan had a similar personality to shen jiu, if a bit more.... gentle? or well, more willing to be gentle. maybe sociable is the better word, actually. shen yuan doesn't have shen jiu's trauma, so he doesn't have the same defense mechanisms that shen jiu did. they have the same scathing tongue, a similar critical outlook on things, etc. shen yuan was able to adapt to the playing the role of shen qingqiu because shen jiu was also playing a role in shen qingqiu, but he couldn't have done so as accurately if they weren't at least a bit similar.

in my mind, shen yuan is like.... if you stripped shen jiu of his traumatic pidw backstory and dropped him into the modern day. the spice/flavor is still there, but it isn't as strong.

liu qingge probably has to take some time to adjust and accept everything, but in my head it's shorter than what most ppl expect. he seems like the type to adjust to changes relatively quickly but also like. in canon he saved sqq immediately after leaving the lingxi caves, and iirc he seemed pretty well adjusted to sqq acting like... not as usual? like sure he was still skeptical but he didn't hesitate to save him. u could argue that's cause they're martial brothers and/or cause sqq saved his life earlier but ehhh while those're def factors i'm p sure most ppl would still take a moment to think, esp if the person is someone they've hated for years. in canon he likely reconsidered sqq's character after being saved in the lingxi caves, and even though he was still skeptical of the change that was enough to make him not hesitate. that, and there probably would be a good amt of time between how long it took him to reconsider sqq's character and him saving sqq, because a conclusion that stays the way it has for months is less likely to waver aka non hesitation factor, if that makes sense. also i can't rlly picture liu qingge, at least at this point, dedicate a lot of time to thinking abt his shixiong acting diff because he has better things to do.

kinda went on a ramble there but like, if that's how lqq acted w minimal information, and how long it reached for him to reach a conclusion, then well. give him a way wider view of the picture and enough time to adjust to the info, which he has mpre than enough of because he is in seclusion, then i could see him adjusting fast enough. even if he wouldn't though tthis is my sandbox so i do what i want

im also thinking/considering of a potential "proximity chat." one that's either

a) immediately turned on after co-op mode is established, but they either eventually or already have the ability to turn it on and off

b) unlocked after liu qingge & shen yuan start to cooperate

or c) after the system establishes co-op mode and things get.. not very cooperative or communicative, the system is like ENABLE THIS FEATURE TO ENSURE NOBODY CAN EAVESDROP ON THIS SENSITIVE CO-OP TEAM COMMUNICATION or something like that. it wouldn't be in caps or worded like that i just needed to put emphasis on it.

c has comedy potential because shen yuan is lowkey panicking and he doesn't want anyone else finding out abt the system and whatnot so he says fuckit fine!! yes!! and the system is like omg yayyy great!! btw u can't turn this off lol xoxo and shen yuan is cursing the system in his head and liu qingge stares at him like oh my god this really isn't og!sqq. and that's how they eventually discover that the proximity chat is actually just automatic and unfiltered telepathy between each other when they're within a certain range of the other. or something like that. i still need to reread svsss oops lol

it might b kinda tropey but it could be funny and i think the "proximity chat" could broaden their early paths from here a bit. and also contribute to the "wtf is going on factor" and the issue of trust. one or both of them may not trust the other, but the proximity chat forces them to trust the other regardless, trust them beyond the co-op mode. they're hearing each other's every thought after all; hiding things could be immensely difficult when they're in the co-op system's proximity chat range

lol the system maybe filtering out specific thoughts or words (such as negative impressions of the other) like an automod, or deliberately & slightly increasing the proximity chat range for a brief moment so a positive thought is sent over. they need to get along for the sake of the new co-op mode!!!!

im not rlly sure if im gonna do the proximity chat or not, but it is an interesting thought still for smaller, more lighthearted moments. lqg hearing sy's scathing internal commentary during peak lord meetings

speaking of liu qingge i think writing from his pov will be fun. he's waking up from his qi deviation in the lingxi caves confused on wtf is happening when an intangible floating blue screen appears in front of him like CONGRATULATIONS!!! you have unlocked permanent co-op mode with user 002!!!! or something like that and he's like what the fuck. and shen qingque is also there and HELPING him like what the Fuck. and shen qingque isn't actually shen qingque like What The Fuck!!!!

i think im probably also gonna remove the without a cure plotline. in svsss it accomplishes two things: sqq getting closer with lqg & lbh curing him in the final volume. here well, no bingqiu = no cure, and the co-op mode gets sqq closer to lqg. also shen yuan was already terminally ill in his past life, like he's peak physical condition before with-out-a-cure happens!! and then he's sick again. that just straight up HURTS. it's like you when you think you're finally cancer free but haha jokes on u, ur cancer came back, u already know there's no cure, xoxo (source: cancer genetically runs in my family). shen yuan alr has a lot to deal w in the svsss plotline, i can at least spare him this i think.

atp im committed to there being no endgame bingqiu so rip luo binghe u can kiss ming fan or sumn idfk. or go to therapy. actually lbh going to therapy should probably warrant a fic of it's own that guy has A Lot going on.

i keep flipflopping on this au's tone being super serious and angsty and intense or being crack treated seriously with no in between. then again someone could argue svsss is crack treated EXTREMELY seriously so Hm. smth to consider there. i still need to reread it oops.

i think how the system distincts sqq and lqg is like. sqq is Host Shen Yuan & User 002A; lqg is Character Liu Qingge & User 002B. like they share the account, so the user is the same, but since they're different the A and B comes into play. kinda like where stars are something alpha and something beta. except there's no way im using alpha and beta even though i know it's meant that way because sqq was chronically online. as for the system referring to lqg as a character, well. the system is the one that reinforces the view that every person in svsss is a character, and since lqg is native to svsss well, yeah. he can't be host as well even though he has the system, because the system isn't hosted on him, it's hosted on shen yuan. it isn't like online matchmaking where two ppl w the same game at different consoles or pcs are playing at the same time together. it's more like playing the old minecraft xbox edition where one person had the game on the console, and their friend with them in person can log into their xbox acct and play minecraft xbox edition with the split screen. except ofc here the co-op system is permanent.

i haven't thought very far ahead on anything else, haven't even thought of how the endless abyss thing goes, but if shen qingqiu still ends up self destructing/exploding then zwoop, system offline for liu qingge. ofc, when sqq wakes up in his new plant body it would also go back online. aka if that still happens lqg would b the first to know shen yuan is back. if it happens im also not planning on letting him keep the plant body that's just too much. i think sqq pre-without a cure is a good balance for anything on the power scale. like sure he probably won't ever be at his full potential qi wise because of what happened when shen jiu was young, but that doesn't mean he isn't weak. he's strong despite it all— it's a handicap yes but it's far from disabling (as opposed to how without-a-cure is). og!sqq worked to be strong because he isn't the type to give up like that, and shen yuan is similar. shen yuan aalso showed himself to be willing to work to improve his personal skills to be on the same level as the sqq before him, and improve the skills of sqq in general.

on that note of improving skills,, hm. would liu qingge try and get shen qingqiu up to snuff,,, even if he wouldn't i could see sqq seeking lqg out a lot pre-abyss, because that's before shen yuan knows that shang qinghua is airplane. aka system solidarity. either way in my head liu qingge would make sure shen qingqiu's skillls r good enough. except ofc it would be the bai zhan peak style of show up and beat em up. he needs to know if shen yuan is somebody that can handle himself if they're gonna be made to work together. sure, he's good taking the brunt of the action, but he's not some babysitter and he can't always be there. also sqq is literally a peak lord he isn't allowed to be weak. or smth like that. it's hard for me to describe what i feel like is going on inside lqg's head.

like, if shen yuan is an overthinker, than liu qingge is a. not simpleminded but in my head he does think very simply/matter of fact. like, if a = b, then c is bla bla blah. he's not jumping mental loopholes or considering every possibility, it's very much direct. actually wait is this how neurotypical ppl's brains work?? point a to point b????? or is that just ppl who don't have anxiety. uhhh idk whatever moving on. liu qingge doesn't rlly dwell on past events or how he can change them imo, what he mostly focuses on is the present and what he can do in that moment. liu qingge didn't stop fighting luo binghe for sqq's body for five years because he didn't dwell on his losses, he focused on the present and what he needs to do. i think that aspect of him probably helped with adjusting to the change in sqq's personality in the lingxi caves, or here in my little au where he suddenly gets a system.

svsss au where there's a system glitch that happens as shen yuan saves liu qingge from his qi deviation, resulting in sy's system being linked to lqg as well. aka, they share a system account. they share quests and points and everything. this... Changes things. such as well, the implications and fallout of an early system/identity reveal to one person, someone that hated the original shen qingque. but also, lqg being forced to have to work together and cooperate with an "imposter"! like in my head i can see lqg being rlly conflicted abt everything that's going on at the start. sy will get over it somewhat quickly i think because sure, why not, fuck you system!! but also in pidw lqg isn't a major character so i can see him having less hangups abt working w him. like his experience w lqg is basically a blank slate. but lqg? he has history w sqq. he simultaneously is on a blank slate and a huge monolith of history/shared experiences/past. he needs to not only adapt to that but also his new situation of sharing sy's system.

i've been microwaving this idea in my head for the last day or so and mmmm yes.s i love lqg. i haven't read svsss in like 4 or 5 years maybe so my memory of certain things is kinda fuzzy but i Cannot get this au idea out of my head

[I smiled and bobbed my head in response to Sam's offer for us to stay in and watch a movie during the weekend instead of going out. Deep down, I knew that was probably the better idea. I mean, I couldn't even walk on my own at this point, without the aid of those stupid crutches, so the odds of me being able to like do miniature golfing or anything overly active didn't seem that likely. At least not without me slowing us down and/or wiping out and making a total ass of myself. In fact, I could already hear Sensei in my ear calling me a "pussy" if that did happen. Not that I could blame him. Finally get a date with Sam... The girl of my dreams... and I make a total ass of myself. Nope. I'd definitely like to avoid that at all costs] Yeah? You wouldn't mind a movie and popcorn night this weekend instead of going to Golf N Stuff? [I didn't want to let Sam down, so if she preferred something more fun and active, then I would do whatever I needed to in order to make it happen] If you're sure you're cool with that, then that's totally fine with me. My mom would probably prefer that plan over Golf N Stuff. My luck, if she got wind of us being at Golf N Stuff this weekend, she'd probably show up there, and force me out of there and back in back. [In spite of the awkward chuckle I gave in response to that likely possibility, I knew given how protective my mom is, I wouldn't be surprised in the least if that did happen] And, thanks, Sam... In high school you were either in the outcast or in the popular group, And Samantha always felt that attach to be in between, but she needed have friends. She lived in the elite crowd, her father was known due to the dealership. But was she socially able to easily make friends? At first no, she had one friend and that was until she met Yas, and ended up being nice enough to where the popular crowd wanted to welcome her in. Kylier he was a jock one of the most popular guys in school, and he liked her. She remembered that first time he walked her to class, it amazed her because after sitting how he treated the outcast today at lunch she did question why she was with him? 

Sam wasn’t okay with how he treated Miguel, and she wished she had been brave enough to come to his defense but instead she sunk down in her chair and watched the humiliation occur. She felt that twist in her stomach; a memory she wanted to forget desperately. And now at the dance she asked herself again why was she still with him? Kylier was busy occupied by his friends, he was by the bleachers laughing; barely acknowledged her. Sam knew if she broke up with him it would cause a hissy fit, it would cause drama she wasn’t prepared for, so she kept her mouth and did what she was supposed to. Date a guy she barely liked anymore. It was wrong but once you break the system, it has the ability to deroad your high school experience. 

Tonight; the brunette decided to put her broken relationship to the back of her mind. Instead she wanted to focus on this dance with Miguel. He was sweet, he was nervous, it was cute though; the small touch of our hands connected. I felt that slight tingle at my fingertips. A sensation she tried to ignored. Pressing palms against his shoulders as she knew from experience, she felt that slight discomfort just because Miguel and I barely knew each other besides sharing science class, besides us making small awkward conversation. But now we were in close proximity to where we felt that touch; felt that sight tingling at least for me I did. Sam knew she didn’t do anything wrong in the cafeteria earlier; but at the same time, she felt guilty for not standing up, for letting her boyfriend talk to Miguel that way; sometimes owning up to mistakes helps build character. 

“ But still, you didn’t deserve that humiliation. He won’t apologize so let me do it for him.” Your place, sounded perfect for how the female felt. She wanted to blend in, wanted to fit in, even if it wasn’t necessarily into the right crowd. But right now; she felt at ease moving feet from side to side to the music, it almost felt simper. That was until Miguel called her perfect. Samantha felt her body stiff up, she felt herself freeze, did he call her perfect? He couldn’t possible believe that phrase. I was far from perfect, I was human. I was a teen who was lying to herself; about the person she wanted to be. Confused daily, Lips pursed to open to object. “ I’m not, you don’t even know me.” Which was true on my defense. Miguel and I barely spoke until now, and now he wanted to act like he knew who I was, that wasn’t even the icing on top, he pegged to ask why I was with my boyfriend. Exhaling a sigh, the female couldn’t stepped back and walked away because this wasn’t his business, but when I raked my mind on the why I came up empty handed. 

“ He’s not as bad as you think okay.” A trail of my words as I felt my hands drop from his shoulders to his hips as my efforts to put distance between us. “ He was nice when we got together but now, I don’t know. Not that it’s any of your business. Do you have a habit of prying into everyone’s business or am I just that lucky girl tonight?” A slight edge of annoyance; not at him at myself because I knew the why being with Kylier kept me in the crowd, as shallow as it sounded; not that Sam was about to utter those words aloud.
